PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To calculate a speed of response of a pressure transmitting medium regardless of a viscosity, by calculating the speed of response based on temperature data of a capillary tube in consideration of the viscosity of the pressure transmitting medium filled in the capillary tube for transmitting the pressure of a measuring medium.;SOLUTION: The viscosity of the pressure transmitting medium filled in the capillary tube for transmitting the pressure of the measuring medium, and the relation wherein the viscosity is changed by the temperature are prepared plurally as a parameter. When receiving the temperature data of the capillary tube, a viscosity change portion corresponding to the temperature data is determined by using the parameter, and the determined viscosity change portion is added to the speed of response of the pressure transmitting medium. Simultaneously, the viscosity change portion is subtracted from the speed of response determined by damping processing, to thereby determine the new speed of response of the damping processing. At least the speed of response of the pressure transmitting medium and the speed of response of the damping processing determined in this way are added together, to thereby determine the speed of response of this differential pressure transmitter itself.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
