PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide both a new microorganism having an excellent degrading ability for persistent aromatic compounds, especially chlorinated dioxins without requiring new other carbon sources as a nutrient source and a method for industrially and advantageously degrading the persistent aromatic compounds using the new miroorganism.;SOLUTION: This NK32 strain of the genus Corynebacterium, especially a new strain has a degrading ability for the persistent aromatic compounds.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
