PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a boiler tube material for heat generation which has excellent high temperature corrosion resistance, and has reduced deterioration in properties caused by stress relieving annealing, and a production method therefor. ;SOLUTION: The boiler tube material for heat generation having reduced deterioration in properties caused by stress relieving annealing has a composition containing, by mass, ≤0.04% C, 2.0 to 3.5% Si, ≤1.0% Mn, 20.0 to 30.0% Ni, 20.0 to 28.0% Cr, ≤0.07% Al, ≤0.3% Nb and ≤0.15% N, and the balance Fe with inevitable impurities, and in which ≥3.5 Nb/C and Ni-bal≥2.5 are satisfied: Ni-bal=Ni+27C+23N+0.2Mn-1.2 (Cr+Mo)-0.5Si-0.3Nb+10.
