PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To exert a high security function by making it impossible to acquire authentication information illegally with ease.;SOLUTION: A global positioning system (GPS) reception part 5e and a short-range radio communication module 5f are provided in a car navigation system 5 which is mounted on a vehicle 4, a portable terminal 6 is provided with a short-range radio communication module 24, and when an engine 2 of a vehicle is put into a stop state from an operating state, an authentication code is created according to present position information and present time information, which are output from the reception part 5e, and housed in a memory 5d and transmitted to the portable terminal 6 so as to be stored in a memory 23. When a door lock device 1 is unlocked, the authentication code is transmitted to the system 5 from the portable terminal 6, and when the authentication code corresponds with the stored authentication code, an unlocking operation is performed and the engine 2 can be started.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
