PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a network system, a computer terminal for a network, an agency authenticating device, and an agency authenticating method capable of remote log-in safe on security without previously setting a public key and an account of a plurality of users in computers of a remote log-in mate.;SOLUTION: This network system has the first and second computers, and has the agency authenticating device having the account to be logged in the second computer. The first computer requires log-in authentication for the agency authenticating device when logged in the second computer. The agency authenticating device generates information required for log-in to the second computer, and sends back the information to the first computer together with the account of the agency authenticating device.
