PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for automatically feeding a culture solution by which an adequate amount of the culture solution can automatically be fed according to the growth of horticultural crops without causing defective growth or lowering of yields of the horticultural crops and an apparatus therefor, a method for hydroponics by which a fertilizer and water can be saved to reduce the amount discharged of the used culture solution and the horticultural crops can efficiently be subjected to the hydroponics and an apparatus therefor using the method for automatically feeding the culture solution and the apparatus for automatically feeding the culture solution.;SOLUTION: This method for automatically feeding the culture solution in the hydroponics is carried out as follows. A minute amount of the discharged culture solution is continuously measured for the culture solution discharged from a hydroponic bed and the amount of water absorbed by the horticultural crops is continuously calculated from both the amount of the discharged culture solution and the amount of the fed culture solution. The new amount of the fed culture solution is determined on the basis of the calculated amount of the absorbed water.
