PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a zirconia alumina composite ceramic sintered body for high frequency circuits which has a high dielectric constant and low dielectric tangent to the high frequency region and which also has preferable mechanical characteristics. ;SOLUTION: The composite ceramic sintered body contains a first phase containing at least ceria (CeO2) and made of tetragonal zirconia particles by ≥90 vol.% and contains a second phase made of alumina (Al2O3) particles dispersed in the first phase. The ceramic sintered body has ≥30 relative dielectric constant and ≤1×10-4 dielectric tangent for the high frequency signals up to 10 GHz.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
