PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for stably producing a spherical particle without deteriorating qualities of obtained granule in a method for mixing and kneading a raw material composed of an agrochemical component, a water-swellable substance and a fine powder carrier with water, extrusion molding the mixture and spheroidizing the molding, a method for coated agrochemical particle production by coating the spherical particle with a coating material, and a method for agrochemical granule production using the coated agrochemical particle. ;SOLUTION: In this method for mixing and kneading the raw material composed of the agrochemical component, the water-swellable substance and the fine powder carrier with water, extrusion molding the mixture and spheroidizing the molding, the mixing and extrusion molding are carried out in a water content not to agglomerate the granule after the extrusion and the extrusion molding is spheroidized at a temperature not to substantially cause decomposition of the agrochemical component in the extrusion molding to give the spherical particle, which is coated with the coating material to give the coated agrochemical particle.
