PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for predicting SOx removal efficiency in a pressurized fluidized bed combustor exhibiting an excellent workability in which an appropriate quantity of desulphurization agent can be supplied, sulphur oxides in combustion gas can be suppressed effectively and accurate operational control can be performed extremely easily, and to provide a desulphurization method in a pressurized fluidized bed combustor exhibiting excellent recycling performance of desulphurization agent in which sulphur oxides in combustion gas can be suppressed effectively. ;SOLUTION: The method for predicting SOx removal efficiency in a pressurized fluidized bed combustor is arranged to operate the desulphurization nonreaction rate based on the outer surface area supply rate SD of desulphurization agent existing in the fluidized bed and the outer surface area supply rate SF of desulphurization agent flying out from the fluidized bed to a free board.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
