PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a skin care preparation having high antiaging effect and high epidermal homeostasis restorative effect for addressing skin aging symptoms including occurrence of wrinkles and fleckles due to aging and extraneous stress such as ultraviolet radiation and skin elasticity decline and various skin troubles including rough skin. PSOLUTION: The skin care preparation having the above-mentioned advantages is obtained by compounding the extract from a plant belonging to Primula L., based on the surprising finding that the extract has marked antioxidative, enderonic fibroblast-potentiating and epidermal cell-potentiating effects as a result of screening substances effectively active in the above effects as indicators.
