PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filter capable of regenerating the filtering function of a particulate filter medium.;SOLUTION: This filter 1 comprises a case 2 having a guide-in part 32 which guides a liquid intended for filtering into the interior of the case 2 and a guide- out part 34 which guides the filtered liquid out of the interior to the outside, a filtering part 5 which is fixedly retained at a specified position halfway from the guide-in part 32 to the guide-out part 34 inside the case 2 and contains a specified amount of a particulate filter medium 6 for filtering the liquid intended for filtering and a stirring means 7 which releases/removes the filtered matter sticking to the surface of the particulate filter medium 6 by stirring the particulate filter medium 6 after filtering the liquid intended for filtering for a specified period of time and relatively moving the particulate filter medium 6 to which the filtered matter sticks and thereby, restores the filtering function of the filter medium 6.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
