PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drive mechanism in a zoom camera by which a cam plate for driving a photographic optical system, a finder optical system and a stroboscopic unit to specified positions is made compact, and image blur of a finder will not be generated even though the stroboscopic unit is being driven. ;SOLUTION: Cam grooves 4b and 4c, for varying the magnification of a zoom finder optical system and a cam groove 4d for varying the irradiation angle of a zoom stroboscopic unit, are provided on the upper surface of the cam plate 4. A cam groove 4a engaged with a cam plate drive pin 3 moved in an optical axis direction by the photographic optical system is provided on the back surface of the cam plate 4. Even if a straight advance moving body 2 moves from a collapsed state to a wide state, the irradiation angles of the zoom finder optical system and the zoom stroboscopic unit will not change. When the state is shifted to a telephoto state, the irradiation angles of the zoom finder optical system and the zoom stroboscopic unit are changed according to the cam groove.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
