PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To execute data selection in a format corresponding to the use range of a user or a manager with respect to data base retrieval or copying. SOLUTION: Data retrieval is executed by using an information management dictionary having table public/private information for managing the public or private information of users who retrieve data and tables and table opening conditions for managing the opening conditions of the users who retrieve data and respective data items in the tables. Also, the copying of the data or the information management dictionary is executed by using server information for managing the information of the other servers.
