PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a frit capable of coping with sealing large members, and to provide a sealed vessel excellent in air tightness.;SOLUTION: The frit 1 is to be used for joining between two members, wherein a frit main body 10 is provided with a projection 12 or recession 11. The peripheries of the frit main body 10 extend toward tips provided with the projections 12 or recessions 11 with wide widths. Adjacent frit main bodies 10 are joined by engaging with the projection 12 and recession 11, or by engaging a connecting frit 2 with each recession of each main body 10. A sealed vessel is made by sealing two glass plates with the frit 1, and the vessel is to be used for a display.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
