PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of being incapable of performing nested calling that further performs shift inhibition and shift permission to a prescribed power saving mode within a section in which shifting is inhibited to a prescribed power saving mode in the case of conventionally shifting a processor to a power saving mode. SOLUTION: A processor power saving controller receives at least either inhibition request information that inhibits shifting from a task to a power saving mode or permission request information with a power saving managing part, adds one to a value of a power saving mode inhibition counter table in the case of receiving the inhibition request information, and subtracts one from the value of the power saving mode inhibition counter table in the case of receiving the permission request information. A power saving setting part shifts the processor to a power saving mode when all values in the power saving mode inhibition counter table are zero in the case the processor becomes idle. Thus, it is possible to perform nested calling of shift inhibition and shift permission.
