PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize utilization of a moving picture display apparatus providing a simple operation.;SOLUTION: The moving picture management display system is configured with a video controller 20, a slave unit 50, and a cradle 40 for interconnecting the both and has information denoting presence of transfer to the slave unit and whether or not a moving picture has been viewed or the like as management information. When the slave unit 50 is placed on the cradle 40, the processing by the video controller 20 is started to automatically transfer data of a moving picture whose transfer to the slave unit 50 is instructed to the slave unit 50. When a semiconductor memory 57 of the slave unit 50 has no free capacity, moving picture data having been viewed are automatically deleted.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
