PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a streaming distribution service for enabling a viewer to easily view contents following a previously viewed place, to attach several marks to a time base and to view again the contents from the time position of a mark selected by the viewer in viewing the contents again next time.;SOLUTION: A main sever 10 is provided with a viewing record information database 200 for recording a time mark attached to once viewed contents for each user in each contents for management, a viewing information recording means 14 and a distribution preparing means 15. A mechanism is provided, which receives a time mark to record the time mark in the viewing record information database 200 when the user requests the setting of the time mark during reproducing streaming contents and when the user stops the reproduction, and also provides time mark information of contents once viewed by the user as a reproduction list when the user views the contents again.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
