PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a lensed fiber array capable of effectively preventing an absolute value deviation, an unevenness and an angular deviation when front end points of respective lensed fibers are longitudinally aligned at positions.;SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing the lensed fiber array comprises the steps of observing the vicinity of the front end points of a plurality of the lensed fibers by a monitoring means, and aligning the longitudinal positions of the front end points of the plurality of the lensed fibers while displaying the part by the observing screen of the monitoring means. The method also comprises the steps of displaying a reference line formed at a predetermined angle to a plurality of grooves of the board on the observing screen of the monitoring means, and aligning the longitudinal position of the front end points of the plurality of the lensed fibers based on the reference line.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
