PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately and easily analyze through numerical analysis the problems of a complex area composed of materials with a plurality of material characteristics.;SOLUTION: Independently created individual mesh units are joined together on their respective mating surfaces while nodal points are unaligned. During the integration of the mesh units, not only the nodal points belonging to the mesh units but also other nodal points constituting the boundary shells of other mesh units included in an area where the boundary shells of the mesh units are offset are the nodal points for local approximate solution construction.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
