PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light and fuel use quantity measuring instrument and a road survey data collection system by which shortening of time required for collecting road survey data, reduction of the grand total of power quantity to be consumed for collecting the road survey data and shortening of use time of a communication path such as a telephone line and a data communication modem are achieved. ;SOLUTION: A gas meter (the light and fuel use quantity measuring instrument) 100 accesses an external road survey data collecting device 200 via the telephone line of a communication path 300 whenever the number of pieces of road survey data newly stored in a road survey data storage part 104 reaches the prescribed number, of pieces and continuously and collectively transmits the prescribed number of pieces of road survey data to the road survey data collecting device 200.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
