PLANT SOAKING SYSTEM FOR CONTROLLING INSECT PEST IN WATER CULTURE TANK

PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the cost on a locking device that can detachably hold the transplanting panel in order to soak plants for controlling insect pests. PSOLUTION: The plant soaking system has a cultivation tank and a storage tank both of which are filled with the culture solution. Further, a culture solution pump is installed so that the culture solution in the culture tank is pumped out to the storage tank in a needed volume and the culture solution in the storage tank is selectively pumped back to the culture tank. In the culture tank, a plurality of panels corresponding to transplanted plants are exposed from the culture solution after the solution is drained out to the storage tank in a required amount, while the roots are soaked in the culture solution, in other words, in the form of water culture. The depth of the solution in the tanks is set to prescribed levels through a holder after the culture solution in the storage tank is drained back to the culture tank, and the plants are soaked in the culture solution for insect pest control.
