METHOD FOR ESTIMATING THREE-DIMENSIONAL MOVEMENT OF RADIATION IRRADIATION TARGET AND RADIATION IRRADIATION SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a three-dimensional movement estimation method for radiation irradiation target easily estimating the three-dimensional movement of a radiation irradiation target in real time. ;SOLUTION: The method is provided with the elliptic ball approximation process step ST2-step ST6 of preparing an elliptic ball approximated to the radiation irradiation target from the picked-up image data of the radiation irradiation target, and the three-dimensional moving amount estimation process step ST8-step ST14 of obtaining the moving amount in x and y axis directions of the centroid of a two-dimensional tomographic image and the area change amount of the two-dimensional tomographic image from the image data of the picked-up two-diemensional tomographic image, obtaining the position in the z axis direction of the two-dimensional tomographic image from the constants of x, y and z axes of the prepared elliptic ball and the area change amount of the two-dimensional tomographic image, and estimating the three- dimensional moving amount of the radiation irradiation target from the obtained values.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
