PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce thermal spraying powder, in a heat treatment furnace in a reducing atmosphere such as a continuous annealing furnace for a steel sheet, which is thermally sprayed on the surface of a roll in the furnace for carrying the material to be heat-treated within the furnace to form a film thereon, and to provide roll in a furnace with the film formed.;SOLUTION: Thermal spraying powder consisting of alloy powder having a composition containing, by mass, 3 to 8% Al, and the balance one or more kinds of metals selected from Co and Ni in 40 to 80 mass% to the total content of the thermal spraying powder, and ceramic powder consisting of Y₂O₃ and Cr₃C₂ respectively in 10 to 30 mass% to the total content of the thermal spraying powder is thermally sprayed on the surface of a roll to form a film.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
