PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide paper which is characterized by preventing discoloration and having excellent decorability, a good water-resistant physical property and a hot water-resistant physical property, can prevent the discoloration of conventional hot water-resistant paper, does not deteriorate the appearance of the paper, can be used for paper containers used in bath rooms, the labels of plastic bottles, the wall paper of the bath rooms, and further food paper containers or paper labels cooked/sterilized with hot water, is scarcely discolored, has excellent decorability, and resists to water and hot water.;SOLUTION: This paper is characterized by neutrally sizing pulp with an alkylketene dimer or an alkylketene dimer and aluminum sulfate in a pulp slurry in a paper-making process and adding epichlorohydrin in an amount of 0.3% based on the pulp as a paper-strengthening agent.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
