PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method, a device and a system for supporting the judgment of need or unneed of visit, capable of improving the customer's satisfaction to a device, and improving the efficiency of periodic visit.;SOLUTION: In this system 1 for supporting the judgment of need or unneed of visit wherein the device 10a, a terminal 13a utilized by a maintenance worker performing the maintenance and inspection of the device 10a, and the device 12 for supporting the judgment of the need and unneed of the periodic visit or the visit by reporting are connected through a communication network 14, the device 12 for supporting the judgment of need or unneed of the visit comprises a periodic diagnosing means for periodically performing the remote diagnosis of the device, a diagnosing means by report for performing the report diagnosis of the device by analyzing the report of abnormality and the report before abnormality, and a need or unneed judgment output means for outputting the judgment of need or unneed of the periodic visit on the basis of a result of the periodic diagnosis and a result of the report diagnosis to the terminal 13a.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
