PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pulverized coal which may serve as a fuel alternative to petroleum, using wood charcoals and bamboo charcoals as raw materials. SOLUTION: The pulverized coal is prepared by introducing coals into an iron mortar 2 and cracking these by successively moving an iron hammer 3 up and down with an operating bar 1 positioned on the rotary axis of a water turbine using water flow as the power. In a combustion device for pulverized coals, the pulverized coals are mixed with pre-heated primary air and discharged into a combustion chamber, while secondary air is simultaneously discharged into the combustion chamber and ignited by an ignition burner to achieve continuous combustion.
