PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air bypass valve system for a turbocharger intercooler engine capable of discharging intake air flowing reversely due to abrupt closing of a throttle valve into an air cleaner. PSOLUTION: This air bypass valve system for the turbocharger intercooler engine is constituted in such a way that an ECU recognizes an abrupt closing condition exceeding a fixed level of the throttle valve in which reverse flow of intake air occurs to open a solenoid valve and an air bypass valve for making a pressure on an outlet side of a compressor of a turbocharger an operation pressure is opened before excessive rise of an intake pressure to bypass intake air flowing reversely. By bypassing the intake air flowing reversely and returning through the air bypass valve sequentially, noise inside the compressor of the turbocharger, the air cleaner, and the valve can be reduced markedly, and a tensile force of a spring provided in the air bypass valve internally can be easily determined when compared with an existing air bypass valve system.
