PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a demand information transmission and information gathering system which is equipped with a marketing information database and also superior in instantinity and convenience for an article supplier.;SOLUTION: A portable telephone which has a mail function and an Internet connecting function is used as an information terminal and then, for example, when a consumer buys (1) an article, information on the store or vending machine and consumer information are sent (2) and immediately register (3) on a service server connected to the Internet. The article supplier is provided (4) with various information registered on the service server.
