PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for measuring the shape of a structure capable of precisely measuring the shape of structure.;SOLUTION: A cast-in-place pile 10 comprises an outer surface 1006 facing underground 1, an inside part 1008 positioned inside the outside surface 1006, and an upper part 1010 facing a ground. Vibrators 2002 are installed near the outside surface 1006 which is to be measured for cross-sectional shape. The vibrator 2002, when inputted with a drive signal, generates the radial ultrasonic wave vibration (first ultrasonic wave vibration) from the inside part 1008 of the cast-in-place pile 10 toward the outside surface 1006. And it detects a ultrasonic wave vibration (second ultrasonic wave vibration) reflected on the outside surface 1006 as a reflection wave, through the inside part 1008 to output a detection signal.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
