PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce an artificial ornamental foliage plant for indoor and outdoor use by forming the individual parts and accessories of an artificial ornamental foliage plant with a reclaimed material taking consideration of the environment and imparting the plant with an environmental cleaning function.;SOLUTION: Recycled parts or reclaimed materials known or available on the market and developed and invested by pioneer companies taking consideration of the environmental problems are improved or applied for the preferential use as the material for individual parts and accessories of the 1st artificial ornamental foliage plant. The material for the parts and accessories is covered with a thin film of a composition composed of a photocatalytic titanium oxide particle and an inorganic binder or a binder converted to an inorganic material. The parts of the 2nd artificial ornamental foliage plant are partly made of a reclaimed material containing titanium oxide particles having photocatalytic activity.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
