PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operation method for a sewage septic tank (or an aerobic treatment tank) having high inflow load and capable of efficiently cleaning a lower section even SS converted from an organic matter is generated in large quantity. During the operation, diffusing air is conducted from the diffusing member 14 for cleaning for a predetermined time, and a cleaning operation for the filtration bed for draining the cleaned waste water is conducted several times a day.
