PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fireproof composition and a sheet-form molding having good water resistance and/or moisture resistance that protect combustible materials from fire by forming a char layer having good fireproof and heat insulating properties expanded and foamed by heating and maintaining the shape as an ash layer even at a high temperature range of 1000°C, and to provide a fireproof sheet laminate having improved drooling in a wide temperature range from room temperature to 1000°C.;SOLUTION: The foamable fireproof composition comprises (A) a thermoplastic resin, (B) a phosphorous compound, (C) a multifunctional alcohol and (D) a metal oxide. The foamable fireproof sheet laminate is obtained by laminating the foamable fireproof sheet-form molding comprising the composition and woven or nonwoven fabric comprising inorganic fibers.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
