PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a screening method and a kit for screening for patients afflicted with lifestyle-related diseases and persons with risk factor for lifestyle- related diseases, applying urine as a test sample.;SOLUTION: The concentration of a substance excreted in urine, in particular, relating to patients afflicted with lifestyle-related diseases and persons with risk factor for lifestyle-related diseases, is measured to perform the screening to the patients afflicted with lifestyle-related diseases and the like.
