PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a side reinforced type run-flat tire for winter season capable of run-flat traveling on an ice road surface by suppressing a buckling event liable to occur at the flat of the tire to assure the ground-contact area of the tread surface of a tread part. SOLUTION: This run-flat tire for winter season comprises a carcass 4, a tread part 9 having an outside rubber layer 7 and an inside rubber layer 8, a main belt 13 having two layers of tilted belt layers 12a and 12b, side wall parts 14, and a reinforcement rubber part 15 are all formed in M-shaped cross section. The width W1 of the main belt 13 at a center part is within 10 to 30% of a main belt width WB with respect to a tire equatorial plane 11, and an auxiliary belt 21 formed of cord layers is disposed on the main belt 13 at least on the outer peripheral side of the center part thereof.
