PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an enclosure structure and an enclosing method capable of safely carrying out the execution of the enclosure and reducing a construction period and a construction cost.;SOLUTION: For the enclosure structure of a lining structural body constructed by successively inserting a large number of larger lining elements in a bedrock prior to the excavation of a hollow cross section in a tunnel, among the lining elements, a plurality of penetration members 21 are penetratingly arranged between two closed lining elements 4a and 4b opposed to each other and inserted in the bedrock at an interval in the direction of the axis of the tunnel, and both ends of the penetration members 21 is fixed to a filling concrete 26 filled between the closed lining elements 4a and 4b.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
