PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a detachable type drive device for chain blocks and manual chain blocks, which has a detachable drive device and can be operated remotely.;SOLUTION: A manual chain block 12 capable of moving a suspension hook 20 by operating a hand chain 34 has a detachable type drive device 11 attached to a casing section 24 for covering a chain wheel 30 rotated by operating the hand chain 34 for allowing the drive of the hand chain 34. The detachable type drive device 11 has a mounting plate 28 which is detachable to the manual chain block 12 by a bolt 26 for fixing the hand wheel casing of the manual chain block 12, and the plate 28 is provided with the chain wheel 30 capable of driving the hand chain 34 of the manual chain block 12 and a motor 32 for driving the chain wheel 30. The motor 32 can be operated remotely by a radio system or a wire system, and the chain wheel 30 is also provided with a meshed constraint means forcibly meshing the hand chain 34.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
