METHOD FOR SENDING NEW SONG GUIDE MAIL UTILIZING COMMUNICATION KARAOKE SYSTEM AND KARAOKE HOST APPARATUS PROVIDED WITH FUNCTION FOR SENDING NEW SONG GUIDE MAIL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for quickly sending a new song guide suitable matching the tastes of customers by electronic mail.;SOLUTION: A karaoke performance terminal of a communication karaoke system links song IDs received from a remote control transmitter per customer to remote control IDs and transmits them to a karaoke host apparatus. The karaoke host apparatus integrates and manages list information and histories of requested songs related to a plurality of the customers in a customer database, updates the customer database based on the remote control IDs and the song IDs received from the karaoke performance terminal, and implements a customer selecting process for selecting the customers who seem to like new songs by comparing index information of the new songs with the histories of the requested songs per customer after the new songs are added to and registered with a karaoke database, and a new song guide sending process for sending electronic mails for informing of registration of the new songs to mail addresses of the customers selected in the customer selecting process.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
