PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an emergency rescue air bag device for railway capable of eliminating injury or death accidents and the secondary damage by observing a fallen person and instantaneously moving the fallen person to the outside of railway laying by the operation of a driver of a train or the station side. ;SOLUTION: This emergency rescue air bag device 10 for railway is provided with an air bag unit 20 including air bags 18 which are arranged in tandem along the longitudinal direction of a rail 16 in the vicinity of the rail 16 provided along a platform 14 within in yard of a station 12 and instantaneously expanded by receiving an operation signal, a conductive wire 22 for transmitting the operation signal to the air bag unit 20 and an operation signal instruction means 24 for supplying and instructing the operation signal in an emergency. The moment the operation signal is instructed from the inside of the train, the air bags 18 are expanded and the fallen person is saved to the outside of railway track.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
