ASH MATERIAL FOR GLAZE OF POTTERY AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ash material for glaze of pottery capable of supplying much ashes with stable chemical property as a glaze raw material of pottery and promoting effective use of ashes of coffee, and a method for manufacturing the ash material for glaze. ;SOLUTION: Ashes of coffee 1 are fired in a rotary kiln 2 at a temperature of 600 to 750°C and a rotary speed 30 to 45 revolutions per minute of a rotary furnace (kiln) 8 (A). Then, the ashes of coffee grounds are closely sealed in a drum can (a steel can) 3 and aged for 35 to 45 hours (B), and at the last, the aged coffee ashes are pulverized to 90 to 250 μm to obtain the ash materials for glaze 5.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
