PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a self-propelling young tree planting hole excavator capable of vertically and easily excavating a young tree planting hole even in a slope and, further, easily putting the root of the young tree into the excavated young tree planting hole.;SOLUTION: A hole excavator 2 is mounted on a working machine arm 7 of a hydraulic backhoe in a rise and fall manner, the working machine arm 7 and the hole excavator 2 are vertically oscillated and turned to enable the young tree planting hole to vertically and easily excavate even in the slope. The hole excavator 2 includes a mounting section 20, a rotational driving section 21, an excavation section 22 and an excavating section 23, and the roots of plants are cut along the inside circumference of the excavated hole to facilitate the planting of the young tree thereinto.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
