PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To separately recover the valuable metal components such as iron and zinc, which are brought into dust from a high-temperature exhaust gas discharged from a rotary hearth furnace, when manufacturing reduced iron in a rotary hearth furnace by employing dust in ironworks as a raw material, in high purity, and use them, in order to smoothly promote recycling and effective usage for metal resources. SOLUTION: The method for recovering and using the dust in the high- temperature exhaust gas which is discharged from the rotary hearth furnace, when manufacturing the reduced iron in it by employing the dust generated from the ironworks as a raw material of iron oxide, comprises introducing the discharged high-temperature exhaust gas to a temperature control tower, collecting primary solid dust in the exhaust gas in the temperature control tower, then introducing the low-temperature exhaust gas from the temperature control tower to a bag filter, collecting secondary solid dust in the exhaust gas in the bag filter, and separately recovering and using the each collected solid dust.
