WATER LEAKAGE DETECTING APPARATUS AND WATER LEAKAGE DETECTING METHOD FOR WATER CONTAINER FOR FLOOR COOLING AND HEATING STRUCTURE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To discover a water leakage of a water container when a floor plate of a floor cooling and heating structure is installed.;SOLUTION: Each of water containers 1 filled with water is installed in each of spaces partitioned by partition members (common joists) 52, respectively. Electrode members 9 having a pair of conductive materials 9b arranged at both sides of a base material 9a acting as an insulating material are arranged at an upper surface and a lower surface of each of the water containers 1, and each of the electrode members 9 is connected to a water leakage detector 4 through lead wires L. When a floor plate installation work is carried out for driving a floor plate 11 against the partition members 52 with nails, a predetermined voltage is applied to each of the electrode members 9 in the water leakage detector 4 through the lead wires L. When the work is performed, if the water container 1 is damaged by a certain nail or the like to cause water leakage to occur, the pair of conductive materials 9b are short circuited with this water leakage, and a resistance value monitored by the water leakage detector 4 is rapidly decreased. Subsequently, each of the electrode members 9 is connected individually to the water leakage detector 4 and it is detected that the water container 1 having the electrode members 9 of substantial zero resistance value shows a water leakage.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
