PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that since in the prior art of a room air conditioner its performance is influenced by a heat source, it is difficult to obtain a higher result coefficient (COP) and further in a cold region there is the need of defrosting, and further since exhaust is dissipated into the atmosphere, the environment undergoes severe impact, resulting in a rapid increase of the demand for electric power caused by simultaneous operations. SOLUTION: A higher efficiency heat pump system having the higher result coefficient is constructed by a combination of a plurality of heat storage tanks with large capacity for ensuring a heat source with predetermined temperature while assuring a high temperature side heat source using solar heat obtained by a CPC type solar collector, and a low temperature side heat source utilizing radiation cooling by a CPC type sky radiator.
