PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a system for effectively, electrolytically preventing corrosion in an aimed part, even when a sacrificial anode can not be installed in the proximity of the part to be protected from corrosion, such as a gap in an intermediate shaft coupling of the seawater intake pump. ;SOLUTION: This method for preventing corrosion in the aimed part to be protected from corrosion, comprises forming a closed area so as to surround the aimed part, while partitioning it with a protective plate 6, connecting the above closed space with the other space through a gap, arranging the above sacrificial anodes 7a and 7b in the proximity of the above aimed part in the above closed space, to perform a cathodic protection for the aimed part.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
