PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide, a smell generator constituted by accurately and hermetically sealing a sufficient amount of a smell generation substance in a hollow container and having high product stability. ;SOLUTION: A gellant is added to the smell generation substance 3a to fill the hollow container 11 with the gelled smell generation substance 3, and the opening part 12 of the hollow container 11 is hermetically sealed by a sealant 13. The sealant 13 is provided in a freely displaceable manner so as to open the opening part 12 when the hollow container 11 is heated to a predetermined temperature.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
