PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drier which enables short-time drying without damaging flavor or smell of farm and marine products, such as vegetables and without affecting environment. SOLUTION: The drier is provided with a circulating fan 11 for circulating air in a drying room 4, a ceramics plate 7 for radiating far-infrared rays and producing minus ions, a cord heater 9 for heating the ceramics plate 7, an infrared-ray heater 12 for heating the air in the drying room 4, an inlet 13 for sucking air into the drying room 4 from outside, an outlet 14 having an exhaust fan 15 for discharging the air in the drying room 4 to the outside, a temperature detecting means for detecting temperature in the drying room 4, a humidity detecting means for detecting humidity in the drying room 4, and a control means for controlling the cord heater 9, the infrared-ray heater 12 or the exhaust fan 15.
