PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a discharged straw transporting apparatus enabling sure extension and contraction of a discharged straw clamping guide. ;SOLUTION: Straw discharged after threshing work is transported to a discharged straw treating apparatus 17 by a discharged straw transporting apparatus 16 composed of a discharged straw transporting chain 11 and a discharged straw clamping guide 10 positioned below the transporting chain. The discharged straw clamping guide is composed of a main guide 10a and a sliding guide 10b sliding in the main guide. A guide wheel 40 is rotationally pivoted on one end of the main guide, a driving wheel 41 is supported under the guide wheel, a tension wire 6 is wound from an end of the sliding guide around the guide wheel, the driving wheel and the guide wheel and connected to the other end of the sliding guide to guide the tension wire and the sliding guide with the guide wheel.
