Method for operating a wind power plant provided with a rotor speed regulating device and involving the corresponding steps: ;determining the in each case critical natural frequencies f of the plant and/or plant parts, ;determining the rotor speed range in which there is an excitation of the overall plant and/or individual plant parts in the critical natural frequency range thereof and ;operating the wind power plant solely above and below the critical speed range, whilst rapidly passing through said critical speed range.
