Method and virtual support system for providing semiconductor components and standalone simulators tagged to an individual component

Electronic components such as semiconductor chips are supported by the manufacturer by providing product developers an online catalogue with the electronic components that are available from the manufacturer. The novel support system links standalone simulators which allow circuit simulations with specific ones of the electronic components. These standalone simulators can be downloaded, installed, and executed by the product developer.
