Procedure for the purification of gangliosides from normal human serum or plasma, which can be Scaled to Industrial level.The Procedure combines: a) obtaining a fraction Rich lipoproteins from normal human serum or plasma; (b) extraction of gangliosides In This fraction, using Organic Solvents; (c) the removal of salts of Organic extract obtained; and (d) the purification of the different Species of gangliosides by adsorption using chromatographic techniques.Gangliosides so obtained can be useful for the preparation of Therapeutic Vaccines more effective, consistent and specific Active immune Treatment of tumor patients.With the goal of generating an immune response anti Glycosphingolipids with cytotoxic capacity and Cytolytic which inhibit the development of tumor and therefore significantly improve the survival of patients; or, for Potential use in diagnostic Reagents.
